Allen Brown is a member of the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), is a Passive House Certified Builder through the Passive House Institute U.S., and a “Certified Aging In Place Specialist”. This is a national certification, specializing in Designing and Building Homes that you will not have to change or remodel, if you stay in your house long enough that you have reached the age that you are now in a wheel chair, or that you have been in an accident and have been forced to use a wheel chair, or other wise hindered in your daily motions. Not only will that give your home the Flexibility of not having to remodel to be able to fit wheel chairs, it will greatly increase the marketability, and increase your potential customer base when you want to sell the house!
Green Building and L.E.E.D.® Certification:
With the cost of energy these days, Green Building just makes sense. We have the privilege of having designed the very first house in the state of Indiana, to receive L.E.E.D. Certification.
Company history
My name is Allen Brown & I started my career in carpentry, both residential & commercial in the late 1980’s. After many years as a contractor building both New Homes and Whole House Remodels, I moved from designing and building, to strictly designing New Homes and Home Remodels.
About me personally
Along with being a father of two young adults & married since 1992, I was a Cub Scout & Boy Scout leader for about 11 years. Starting as a Den Leader, moving on to Cub Master, and later working on the District level, helping other Scout Troops & Cub Scout Packs.
After a couple of decades of being physically located in Indiana, but designing all over, we have permanently relocated to Hudson, Florida, but we can still design blueprints for structures anywhere!
